CantuS CorvinuS Vocal Ensemble
CantuS CorvinuS Vocal Ensemble of Hungary is one of the top representatives for the vocal music of the Renaissance and Baroque periods. The main artistic goal of the group is to open up the beauty and diversity of early vocal music for present day audience. With the vocal qualities of the singers CantuS CorvinuS reaches out to contemporary compositions and jazz musical styles.
CantuS CorvinuS Vocal Ensemble has created, through careful study of historical performance practice, a period concerned sound and timbre. Due to the high technical and artistic skill of each singer, CantuS CorvinuS gained a dimension which, according to the Press, "thrilled the audience by the magic of music". The ensemble is among the best groups in early music, and is in the frontline in Hungarian festivals, television and radio productions.
Since 1993 CantuS CorvinuS has visited Austria, Italy, Germany and Denmark giving about 100 concerts.
