Judit Kiraly sopranoShe started her musical career in conservatory as a member of the Hungarian Children’s Choir, during which period she also learned to play the violin and the piano. She graduated from Béla Bartók Secondary School of Music as a student of Gábor Ugrin and Erzsébet Legányné Hegyi and received her Bachelor’s degree in 1995 at the Music/Singing/Choirmaster Faculty of ELTE (Lóránt Eötvös University of Sciences).
She started her studies in singing at the Leó Weiner Conservatory under the guidance of Ágnes Soósné Deli, continuing them at the Academy of Music of the Szeged University of Sciences with Edit D. Szécsi. She earned her second degree summa cum laude in 2006 at the Faculty of Vocalist/Teacher as a student of opera singer dr. Mária Temesi. During her studies she attended courses held by Éva Marton, Sylvia Sass, Adrienne Csengery and Katalin Halmai. She became a finalist at the 1st International Oratory Competition in Esztergom in 2004.
She has been a regular guest as soprano soloist at the foreign and local concerts of the Óbuda Chamber Choir since 1998, mainly performing in baroque, 20th century and contemporary pieces. She has given her own solo concerts as well, on numerous occasions.
She is currently a member of the Hungarian National Choir.
